MISSOULA, Mont. - A 61-year-old Butte woman was sentenced to 11 years in prison on July 14 for one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Carol Jane Soza pleaded guilty to the charge in December 2025. 

According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Montana, Soza was "bringing methamphetamine into Montana from a source in Washington and selling it in Butte with the help of a partner."
