A Montana veteran is urging awareness after he was confronted by a person saying he couldn’t park in a handicap spot even though he had disabled veteran plates on his truck.

Glenn Scott joined the Marines in 1974, shortly after turning 17. He served six years as a radio operator and infantryman and was part of the Marines deployed for the Mayaguez Operation on the island of Koh Tang. After his deployment, he joined the National Guard.
