A Bozeman man was sentenced Thursday afternoon to 14 months in prison for making threats against various government officials, including Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte and U.S. House Rep. Jim Jordan. 

Daniel Verbanec, 47, appeared before Judge Dana Christensen in Missoula's U.S. District Court for sentencing on one charge of threatening to assault of murder a U.S. official.
