Winter Kissed Farm, a vegetable operation near Stevensville in the picturesque Bitterroot Valley, is hosting its second annual farm party on Sunday, July 19.
The event is free and open to the public. It'll feature guided farm tours, live jazz music, free beer from their CSA host breweries, family friendly games, a food truck with Indian cuisine, plant-based gelato for sale and photo opportunities.
Farm co-owner Max Smith the event is designed to show people where their produce is grown. It runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and guided farm tours will be held at 10 a.m. and at 1 p.m., with other fun in between.
"This will be a day of community, great food and good times that you won't want to miss out on," Smith and his team said in an email.
They ask that people not bring dogs and remember to bring solid footwear.
The music will be from Steve Kalling's The Absent Wilson Conspiracy and the food truck will be Himalayan Rockies. Cool Earth Creamery will be on hand with their gelato.
The farm is located at 498 Cash Drive in Stevensville. Look for signs to turn at Cash Drive between Higgins and Winters Lane. Follow Cash Drive and turn right after crossing the railroad tracks.
