Helena celebrated the 250th anniversary of the birth of the United Sates on Saturday by raising a new stars-and-stripes flag after a helicopter delivery to Centennial Park.
Now in its 13th year, the event hosted by the Old Glory Landmark Committee featured a Montana DNRC helicopter delivering a new 30-foot-by-50-foot American flag, which was raised by veterans and Boy Scouts.Â
