Two Montana residents have challenged a waiver issued for a proposed expansion of a new oil pipeline that is slated to pass through Eastern Montana on its way from from the tar sands of Canada to an oil facility in Oklahoma.

According to the challenge, the Montana Department of Environmental Quality gave a waiver for Bridger Pipeline to omit certain information early on in the process to determine where the pipeline will go.
