HELENA — The state must ensure employees of the Public Service Commission don’t experience harassment — that’s why Gov. Greg Gianforte suspended Commissioner Brad Molnar, a lawyer for the governor argued Friday in court.

“The state’s interest isn’t abstract here,” said lawyer Dale Schowengerdt, arguing for the governor. “It’s the safety and retention of the people who came forward.”
