YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyoming — After a major explosion at the Biscuit Basin in Yellowstone National Park, scientists are reporting further activity two years later, including another small blast in June.

In 2024, Black Diamond Pool in Biscuit Basin erupted and sent mud and debris high into the air. No visitors were hurt, but part of the boardwalk was destroyed.
