Shelter starts adoptions of 98 animals seized in Corvallis

HAMILTON, Mont. — Nearly 100 animals rescued during an animal cruelty investigation in Corvallis are now in the care of the Bitter Root Humane Association and partner organizations, with many ready to find their forever homes, the association announced.

The Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office carried out the warrant in May as part of an animal cruelty investigation that prompted the removal of dogs, cats, rats, a tortoise and livestock from the property.
