MISSOULA, Mont. — The Western Montana Fair returns July 31 through Aug. 8 with free daily admission, according to event organizers.
The fair ran across two weekends this summer. Organizers said free live music featuring local performers started each night at 7:00 p.m.
Ticketed arena events included Lords of Dirt and the Missoula Stampede Rodeo. The carnival and amusement rides ran from noon to 10 p.m. each night, and passes were available online.Â
Organizers urged people to buy tickets and passes before Thursday, July 30, to save $10.
On-site parking cost $10 and was cash-only, with proceeds supporting Sentinel High School. Public parking at the Fairgrounds was available only off South Avenue and Stephens this year.
Organizers also said there was no public parking between the Clouse Bauer Arena and the YMCA.
