LONGVIEW, Texas — KTBS 3 contributor Bethany Nolan is helping families celebrate Father’s Day with a flavorful twist at Bodacious Barbecue on Mobberly Avenue. Nolan visited the longtime East Texas staple to preview its “Pops and Pitmasters” event, offering a day filled with barbecue, local collaborations, and family-friendly fun.
From brisket and ribs to house-made sausage and pork belly, the event will also feature partnerships with local favorites, including a brewery and ice cream shop. “Sometimes dad just wants a rack of ribs,” Nolan said while highlighting the laid-back, food-focused celebration.
The family-owned restaurant, a fixture in the community for generations, invites families to stop by Saturday from 11 A.M. until their sold out to enjoy great food and make Father’s Day weekend memorable.
