MARSHALL, Texas — A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a Marshall Whataburger that left two people dead and two others injured.

The Marshall Police Department took Cortavian Tatum, 19, into custody. Authorities booked him into the Harrison County Jail on a murder charge. Police identified Tatum as a suspect on Tuesday and had warned the public that he was considered armed and dangerous.

The shooting happened Saturday at the Whataburger located on Victory Drive. Authorities identified the deceased victims as brothers James Morrow, 20, a student at Trinity Valley Community College, and Jassiah Hill, 18, a graduate of Longview ISD. Two other individuals suffered gunshot wounds and were injured.

Authorities previously arrested two other men in connection with the case. Police charged Davion McDale Brown, 19, of Dallas with capital murder, and Jamarrio Epps, 21, of Longview with murder. Both are also being held in the Harrison County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing, and police have not released further details regarding a motive for the shooting.
