This week is a great week for celebrating Tennessee’s pivotal role in the 19th Amendment’s ratification. 

On August 18, 1920, the Tennessee House of Representatives voted in a special session to ratify the 19th Amendment, which enshrined the right to vote for American women in the U.S. Constitution.
