SHREVEPORT, La. -Â KTBS continues to highlight viewer submissions for our Pothole Patrol segment.
Thanks to consistent attention and participation from ArkLaTex viewers, Shreveport city officials have partnered with KTBS to go "behind the scenes" in pothole repair.
Rusty Bethley, a viewer emailed the Pothole Patrol, notifying KTBS a repair needed to be made on Line Avenue at Dalzell Street in the southbound lane.
One of the pothole repair crew members, Chris Walker, said this pothole is one of many they fill in a day.
"The count varies, you know," said Walker. "Well, we might fill in maybe from 10 to maybe up to 40 holes sometime a day depends on the size.
Normally, the city would have repaired the pothole without a camera crew. But, thanks to the Pothole Patrol, viewers can see their submissions matter.
