The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is kicking off its first ever "Big Game Days" in Missoula this weekend. This includes everything from archery events and elk calling to live music and outdoor gear. It's also bringing people together with conservation work front and center.

Missoula, Mont. — The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's first Big Game Days in Missoula this weekend paired public events with volunteer habitat projects across the area.

Big Game Days runs through Sunday at locations around Missoula. The weekend was built to show how hunting, habitat work and public access connects to conservation.
