When sculptor Pamela Harr saw veterans working to improve Veterans Memorial Park in Glendive — installing sidewalks, lights and flag stands in 2024— she felt the space was a little empty and calling for a sculpture.

“Anytime I see a spot in town that just cries out to me to put a sculpture there, I just have a vision of what I could do for the spot," Harr said.

The letter the soldier is holding contains names of donors and a thank you to the town of Glendive for their love and support.
