Butte woman competes on Jeopardy!

Bridget Sullivan, center, talks with family and friends who came to McGrath's Pub Lounge and Casino to watch her compete on "Jeopardy!" Monday night. Sullivan finished in second place and took home $2,000.

About a dozen people gathered near a big-screen TV at McGrath’s Pub Lounge and Casino on the Flat on Monday night to watch Bridget Sullivan, of Butte, compete on "Jeopardy!", the decades-running game show hosted by Alex Trebek.

The gathering, which included Sullivan’s family and friends, cheered when she answered correctly and teased when she was wrong. As the show went on, other lounge patrons joined in, shouting encouragements and congratulating Sullivan on her success.
