GREAT FALLS, Mont. — Acting U.S. Attorney Mark Steger Smith announced that a Poplar man was sentenced in two separate federal cases involving a minor and a machete attack.

Eithan Toby McKay, 22, pleaded guilty in January 2026 to sexual abuse of a minor and, in a separate indictment, to assault with a dangerous weapon, according to federal prosecutors.
