Federal land managers are moving forward on a massive proposed solar project about eight miles southeast of Pahrump — one of few to be cleared following renewable energy permitting hurdles under the Trump administration. 

Last week, the Bureau of Land Management announced their intent to prepare an environmental analysis and resource management plan for the proposed Mosey Solar Project, a 500 megawatt solar project that could produce enough energy to power more than 200,000 homes in California and Nevada.
