Sportsbooks pile on new offers whenever a major event rolls around. Knowing what to check before signing up saves you both time and money.

Pennsylvania bettors don’t need much encouragement during a marquee sporting event. Seattle’s win over New England in Super Bowl LX still pulled $59.3 million in wagers through the Commonwealth that weekend, generating $18.1 million in state revenue, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. That total came in well below the year before, when a home state Eagles run sent betting volume past $100 million. Money like that doesn’t move in a vacuum: it’s a signal of how much attention Pennsylvania bettors pay to a single game and how many operators are chasing a piece of it. Even in a quieter year, one game moved tens of millions of dollars through Pennsylvania sportsbooks in a single weekend.
