TEXARKANA, Texas — TexAmericas Center has retained its position as the No. 5 industrial park in the United States, according to the Business Facilities’ 2026 Annual Metro Rankings.
The announcement marks the seventh consecutive year the center has placed in the top 10. The ranking evaluates parks based on manufacturing activity, available land, intermodal capabilities, and regional economic impact.
“Returning to the top five confirms that the work happening across our campus is being noticed,” said Scott Norton, chief executive officer and executive director of TexAmericas Center. “Companies are investing, adding jobs, and expanding here because our team and regional partners are prepared to solve problems and help projects move forward.”
The center, which operates on the Texas side of the Texarkana metropolitan area, manages approximately 12,000 acres and 3.5 million square feet of commercial and industrial space. It currently supports 44 companies and 1,536 jobs, reporting a $95.2 million payroll for 2025. Over the last five years, employment on the property has grown by 136%.
Several major projects contributed to the center's growth over the past year:
• EnergyX: Launched a lithium processing demonstration plant following a $20 million investment.
• COIM USA: Announced a $50 million specialty chemical manufacturing expansion.
• Rowe Casa Organics: Purchased a 150,000-square-foot building to consolidate its headquarters and research operations.
• Renew Truck: Expanded its production footprint to more than 16,000 square feet.
The center is also advancing "Project Big Pine," a 500-acre mission-critical campus designed for data centers and artificial intelligence infrastructure. If fully developed, the project could represent a $3.5 billion investment and create 120 permanent jobs.
