BEEVILLE – First Christian Church is expanding its community fine arts programming this fall, offering both a weekly group arts camp and individualized instruction starting in September.
The church's Fine Arts Education Program will host a 14-week Fun Arts Camp for children ages 4 through fifth grade. The camp will meet on Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. starting Sept. 3 at 715 N. St. Mary’s St.
"All are welcome. This is going to be fun!" organizers shared in an announcement post. "Also, if you have a talent/fine art you wish to share, please let us know!"
Designed to foster creativity and community, the semester-long camp features sessions in drama, art, dance and movement, music, storytelling and crafts. Organizers aim to provide local children with a positive environment to explore creative disciplines while building social connections with peers. Enrollment requires a $20 fee, which covers supplies for the entire 14-week semester. Families can register by scanning the camp's QR code or calling 830-708-5536.
In addition to the weekly group camp, the program is opening enrollment for direct instruction in piano, violin, guitar, voice, dance and class piano. Prospective students or parents interested in specialized lessons can leave a message detailing their interest at 361-358-3227 to be connected with an instructor.
